We take applications from non-married, practicing Catholics between the ages of 18-28.

When can I apply?
We are now taking applications for the ministry year 2023/2024. Applications for international missionaries close 30th April 2023 Applications for UK missionaries close 30th June 2023.

Do I have to be Catholic?
Yes, NET Ministries is a Catholic ministry that upholds the teachings of the Catholic Church.

What does serving with NET involve?
You will be on a team of 8-10 young missionaries working with Catholic schools and parishes running retreats and discipleship programmes for students between the ages of 11-18.
As a missionary, you will learn life long skills in many areas including: spiritual formation, prayer life, authentic Christian relationships, leadership skills, and public speaking skills

What is the timeline of a NET year?
August - 5 week intensive training with NET USA in West St. Paul, MN.
September - Orientation training in the Highlands of Scotland
September - Begin ministry
December - Christmas Break
January - January training
March - Easter Break
June - Begin Wrap Up week
June - Thanksgiving Mass and Closing Banquet.

Fundraising
Each non UK missionary is asked to fund raise a minimum of £8,000/$10,000. You will be given the support and resources to achieve this. Flights to and from Minnesota, visas, medical cover, food, accommodation and a monthly stipend of at least £110/$125 are provided by NET Scotland.
UK and Ireland missionaries are asked to fund raise a minimum of £7,000 as they do not need Visa and medical cover, the flights, food, accommodation and stipends are still provided
